How to restore the iPhone

restore the iPhone

You may need to restore your iPhone at times, and it is recommended that you download the most recent version of the iTunes application on the device and save all of the files, photos, and data on it if you do not want to lose them, as this process wipes out all of the device's information and settings. The iPhone, as well as the processes for restoring it, are as follows:

On your iPhone or PC, launch the iTunes app.

Using the device's connection, connect your iPhone to your PC.

Follow the directions on the screen to enter the device code in the place that appears on the screen.

When the iPhone shows in the iTunes app, give it a name.

Select the Restore option (device name), then select Restore once more. Wait until the program erases all of the data on the device and installs the most recent software.

Reasons for iPhone Restore

Users restore their iPhone devices for a variety of reasons. Some do so to perform essential repairs, which also result in the erasure of all data on the device; others do so after they mistakenly or purposely wipe all of their data, or due to file corruption on the device.

How to save the data before the restoration work

Saving data on the device is one of the backup stages that the user may do before restoring the iPhone, and you can back up this data to iCloud by following these steps: On the iPhone, go to settings, then choose the device's name. Choose the iCloud application. Locate the iCloud backup option and toggle the switch to on. Wait for the backup procedure to finish, knowing that iCloud will backup your data again in 24 hours.
